FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
St. Petersburg, Florida, November 8, 2024 – Samantha Bond Richman, founder of Sam Bond Benefit Group, was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. NSBA is the nation’s oldest small-business advocacy organization, and operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis. Richman, whose maiden name was Bond, is a recognized leader in the small-business community, and joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small-business advocates from across the country. Together they champion the interests of small businesses to the policymakers in Washington, D.C.
“I feel it is important to support the interests of small business. These are the clients I serve, and I am a small business owner, too,” stated Richman. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will enable me to take our collective small-business message to the people that need to hear it most: Congress.”
Samantha Bond Richman has been advising business owners on the merits of using a professional employer organization (PEO) for over 34 years. Initially she worked for an employee leasing company, where she became a shareholder and continued her career development earning her Florida Series 215 Insurance License in 1992. When the company was sold, her independent nature took over and she continued to support her small business clientele with insurance and professional employer organization (PEO) consulting.
Richman joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of her efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small business, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs and how access to capital will impact small business. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.
“I am proud to have Samantha Bond Richman as part of our Leadership Council,” stated NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken. “She came to us highly recommended and I look forward our coordinated efforts for years to come.”
